Never go hunting alone in an area which you do not know of as you will not enjoy the hunting and will miss some great hunting areas. . Always get a guide who is knowledgeable about the area you are planning to hunt in. Make reservations beforehand while planning for the trip.

Bow hunting is the sport I choose to get back to nature. I have been bow hunting for over 20 years and like nothing better then getting in my stand and listening to the sounds of the forest. It is not the sport for everyone though as it takes a lot of persistence and patience. The main key to bow hunting is to remember you are now in "their" territory and they know it better than anyone. I have 2 sons that are die hard hunters also but can't get the bow hunting thing down, they can shoot well and hunt anything else well but don't have the perseverance to sit still. When bow hunting say deer they know everything of their surroundings and most important pay attention to whats going on around them.
